Hometown Delaware Photograph Project
The Hometown Delaware project was started by the Delaware Public Archives more than two years ago in order to recruit the public's help in identifying individuals in the Archives' vast collection of approximately 800,000 photographs.
This project has traveled to different libraries throughout the state, providing local photographs that contain unidentified individuals.
So far, more than 1,900 Delawareans have been identified. Although the project will continue in different towns throughout the state for the next several years, it is time to go global on the internet to reach the thousands of Delawareans and former Delawareans who are located throughout the world.
There are more than 540 people to identify in this first set of pictures. Some photographs contain individuals who have already been identified.
Please continue to check back with the website as more pictures will be added as the project progresses.
