The Delaware Public Archives would like to announce their traveling exhibition schedule for 2010. The Archives is currently featuring three separate exhibits on display at various locations throughout the state;
Revolutionary Delaware:
Learn about the drafting of Delaware's Declaration of Rights, the outstanding reputation of the Delaware Regiment and their service from 1776 to 1783 in military campaigns extending from New York to the Carolinas, life on the home front and more.
Present – April 3: Milton Historical Society
June 5 – September 5: Seaford Historical Society
Vietnam Mailbag:
Based on the publication Vietnam Mailbag, Voices from the War: 1968-1972, by Nancy E. Lynch, this exhibit captures the hopes, fears, joy and tears of Delaware servicemen through selected letters sent from Vietnam along with military artifacts from the era.

April 9 – June 1: Milton Historical Society
June 8 – September 7: Air Mobility Command Museum, Dover DE
September 9 – November 12: Seaford Historical Society
Delaware’s Long Road to Freedom:
Designed to supplement an in-house display related to the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth, this mini-exhibit features materials from the collections of the Delaware Public Archives including a seventeenth century tax list, a 1786 Quaker petition supporting the emancipation of slaves, a 1792 manumission document and more.
